How to make a Pinterest pin

How do I make a Pinterest pin?

What size is a Pinterest pin?
Pinterest recommends a 2:3 portrait shape, which is 1000×1500 pixels. Every template here is already that shape, so you do not have to measure anything — and you can export at 2× if you want a sharper file.
Do I need an account to use this?
No. You can design a pin and download it without creating an account, giving an email address, or entering a card. An account only adds scheduling — publishing the pin to your Pinterest boards for you — plus a brand kit and batch creation.
Is it really free, and is there a watermark?
